Thank you so much to the lovely Charlotte Leeming, the BBC Look North presenter and reporter who came to visit us at babyballet Head Office today. The reason for her visit was to film a little feature about babyballet that will be shown tomorrow (Thurs 5th Feb). To cut a long story short, I saw a feature last week on Look North about the credit crunch and how much doom and gloom there was in the country at the moment. That same day, I had had such a lovely day down at the Academy surrounded by happy children and their guardians that I felt that I wanted to invite Look North down to see how much fun and positivity there is at babyballet and to come and see that there is still some happiness around, despite the current climate. I was totally overwhelmed when Charlotte emailed to say she would love to come down to visit.
It was a fun day with Charlotte and I am so glad we could show her what babyballet is all about and that everybody involved is trying their best to keep people smiling at such a difficult time.
